Vintage Quaker Oats Man Advertising Mug Pitcher 1977 Limited Edition

Vintage RARE Quaker Oats man promotional advertising toby mug or pitcher manufactured by Wood and Sons China in England for the centenary of the Quaker Man trademark in 1977. It is a limited edition piece and is number 40 of 2,600 and is marked on the bottom. The Quaker Oats man has a handle on his back and a spout at the top front of his hat. He has glaze crazing. He displays beautifully. These do not come up for sale very often and are difficult to find. It stands 6 3/8" high by 4 1/4" wide by 5 1/2" deep (including the handle). Inside has no stains, chips or cracks. Outside is in great condition. There is a chip on the bottom (see second to last photo). It is not noticeable when pitcher is sitting (see last photo-taken from an angle to show the bottom). This would make a great addition to a toby mug, advertising, or Wood China collection.
